I haven't blogged in a while... been too busy. But after watching Fox News tonight, I really had to wonder...
If someone can't even provide the basic necessities of life (food and medical care) for their children, how can they feel good about themselves? If you need to depend on the government to pay for your family's food from Food Stamps, how can you have any pride in yourself? That's a necessity of life and you can't even provide that for your family. So you're really not the 'breadwinner' in the family, huh? I think these people should be ashamed of themselves, they are the bottom of the totem pole for not making something of themselves, and their children will follow in their footsteps and grow up to be 'nothings', also, the peons of life. If you don't earn enough income to support your family, then get an education and get a better job. Or maybe you should have waited to start a family until you could afford it, did that ever cross your mind? Yeah, apparently to most people it doesn't occur to them to use common sense, but then you have the people who pop babies out just to keep their welfare, while the children get neglected, I know a few people like that... Professional Welfare Moms.
I'm not talking about large families where the father actually supports his family as he should... I also know families like that. But if you have to depend on the government to feed your children, you don't need to keep having more.
Does it feel good to sit at the end of the welfare line to get your free handout? How does it feel to know that your children would starve if it wasn't for other people's money being taken from them and given to you? Can you look at yourself in the mirror and think you're a decent person??
What about people claiming disability, but they aren't disabled? We all know the type... they can work in the garden all day, play baseball and soccer with their children, shop 'til they drop using the food stamps and government aid that they so happily leech from the real tax-paying citizens, but are too lazy to work an 8 hour day and have duped the government into paying them for being "disabled" so they can do what they please while everyone else can hold their head up high at their jobs. Oh, they just told little white lies to get it? A lie is a lie, no matter how small. So does it matter that they are liars and cheaters, amongst other things? I'm sure they have no problem sleeping at night knowing what kind of people they are. Hmm... these people might be lower than the lowest on the totem pole, although most people on disability also get food stamps and free medical. Yes, definitely the worst of the worst as far as value to society. It sounds like Obama planned his 'death panel' for these types of people... if you are worthless to society, then you are worthless as a human being.
And people who keep collecting unemployment, going around with their sheet of paper asking people at stores to sign it saying that they asked for a job application, but they really aren't looking for a job... it's too easy to sit home and collect all those free benefits for as long as that ding-dong Obama will hand them out.
Wow, sounds awfully judgemental, right? I'm just stating the facts with a little common sense added in.
Maybe this will give someone a wake-up call, cause you might be one of those people who needs a smack in the face and become a real man or a real woman.
You can't have self-worth as a person if you are constantly depending on other people to provide the sustenance of life for you and your children.
Alright, my rant is done. We can go back to being happy now :o)
