A family of four on welfare just got their welfare benefits of food stamps upped an average of $80 a month, and the other day at Publix a woman with 'bling' everywhere, nails and hair done (have you seen how much that costs??), cellphone, designer purse, was buying two HUGE stacks of crablegs on my tax dollars and all the "fixins" to go with it. I saw another woman on a different day buying birthday cake and all the other wonderful preparations (chips, ice cream, soda, candy) for a birthday party with that same welfare card. Must be nice to be able to take advantage of government programs like that.
Now, my family doesn't qualify for handouts from the government like half the people in South Carolina seem to, we get no food stamps, no Medicaid, absolutely nothing. We pay over half of Mike's paycheck for food and medical costs, and to be honest, it aggravates me. Why did Mike spend years studying and paying for a good education, when a high school dropout will just be given the difference by the government? Or even someone earning the same amount as him, but getting paid under the table? I've often told Mike that we'd have the same amount of money if he worked at McDonald's because then all the food and medical costs would be covered.
So where's OUR help, Oh Great Obama???
